Artisan Cutlery Kit
Nothing disposable in the kit.
A travel cutlery kit — fork, spoon, knife, chopsticks, spork, bamboo straw, and a coconut fiber brush — hand-carved from sustainably-harvested mango wood by fair trade artisans in Uttar Pradesh, India, carried in a pouch sewn in Los Angeles from deadstock fabric. One kit replaces a stack of single-use plastic cutlery and straws.
- Fork, spoon, knife, chopsticks, spork, bamboo straw, coconut fiber cleaning brush
- Solid mango wood, hand-carved, no petroleum-based finishes
- Fair trade, made in small batches in Uttar Pradesh, India
- Pouch sewn in Los Angeles from deadstock fabric
- Ships from within the United States
Care
Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry immediately — don't let wood cutlery sit wet. A soak in warm water, vinegar, and a splash of lemon juice lifts stains or odor.
Why we picked it
Plastic cutlery from a drawer of takeout extras gets thrown away after one use. This kit is built to go back in your bag, not the trash.
A small swap that pays for itself. Less plastic, same convenience.
