Bamboo Soap Dish

Bar soap works — if it dries.

That's the whole problem with going back to a bar: leave it sitting in a puddle and it's paste by Thursday. This dish is slatted, so the water runs out instead of pooling underneath.

Natural bamboo, small enough for the edge of a kitchen sink, light enough to lift with one finger when you wipe down the counter.

• Solid bamboo
• Slatted base, drains on every side
• Fits a standard bar
• Ships from within the United States

Care

Rinse it and let it dry. If it darkens over time, that's the bamboo doing its job.

Why we picked it

A soap dish doesn't save anything on its own. It's what makes the bar practical — and the bar is what replaces the bottle.

A small swap that pays for itself.
